Register for Winter/Spring Art Classes at the Las Cruces Museum of Art

Registration for 2012 winter and spring art classes at the Las Cruces Museum of Art is on-going. Class schedules and registration forms are available at the museum and on the website www.las-cruces.org/museums . The first session begins the week of January 9, 2012. The second session begins the week of March 5, 2012.

Classes for adults include weaving, ceramics, drawing, and painting. Older teens are welcome to attend all adult classes.

Classes for young artists are offered. Our \"Saturday Art Fiesta\" combines art and fun for kids ages 5 to 12. The schedule includes ceramics classes for students 6 to 8 and those from 9 to 12. \"After-School Art Explorers\" includes new projects using a combination of watercolors, pastels, tempera, and inks.

Gallery hours are 9 am to 4:30 pm Tuesday through Saturday. Office hours are Tuesday through Saturday 8 am to 5 pm. The Museum of Art is closed Sunday and Monday.
